This is the absolute top choice list of sport bikes for 2021 so we are not focused on any CC limits here. At the same time, price point is not going to be a top factor here although we are going to include bikes that offer the most power per dollar in some cases. Here is the list!
2021 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP
The Honda CBR series has a ton of racing pedigree and it has all come together for the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. This is Honda’s way of bringing the RC213V racing bike to the everyday rider. It is powered by a 999cc inline-four engine that produces 215 horsepower. The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP features a unique aerodynamical design and a front air intake that feeds air to the engine. This is essentially a racing bike dressed up to be a street bike.
2021 Ducati Panigale V4S
One of two Italian companies to be featured on this list, the Ducati Panigale V4S is a stunning supersport bike. It features a 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale 90 degree V4 engine producing 215 horsepower. The Panigale V4S also features a unique active suspension that adjusts based on what is happening on the rode via a throttle-by-wire system and accelerometers that track the bike. One of the more high tech bikes on this list, and also one of the more expensive one but it is definitely worth it.
2021 Kawasaki ZX-10R
Kawasaki is another Japanese manufacturer that has dominated the supersport bike segment for a long time. Their Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is an incredible bike featuring a 998cc inline-four engine pushing 200 horsepower. The ZX-10R is more unique on this list compared to other bikes due to the unique exhaust system setup which allows the ZX-10R to basically scream past you.
2021 Yamaha YZF-R1
Yamaha’s top supersport bike has always been the R1 and it’s a bike that dominates these types of lists year in and out. The R1 is powered by a 998cc crossplane crank inline-four engine that produces 198 horsepower. Yamaha introduced a new suspension and ECU setup, where the bike is almost trying to push you to ride it harder.
2021 Aprilia RSV4RR
Aprilia might be the unknown manufacturer to some based on the others on the list but that shouldn’t discourage anyone from them. The 2021 Aprilia RSV4RR is made like all Aprilia motorcycles, to be a true racing bike. It is powered by a 999cc V4 engine that produces 201 horsepower combined with a unique package that is unbelievably fun to ride. This is especially a top pick if you are looking for a fun track bike.
Happy riding!
