Look I know diesel prices are currently through the roof, but this is too good of an example to miss out on. For those not familiar, the Mercedes Benz W123 were executive cars made from 1975 to 1986. The W123 is one of Mercedes-Benz most successful models with 2.7 million examples being sold before production ended. They were manufactured in several different forms including a 4-door sedan (most popular), coupe, estate, limo, and LWB chassis (think bulletproof finishes). They have an extensive reputation of being some of the most reliable cars ever made with many examples reaching over 500,000 and up to a 1,000,000 miles with only regular maintenance and minor issues.
This particular example is a 1985 vintage sedan finished in a maroon exterior with a black interior. It features the diesel 5 cylinder inline engine that is a mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission. The seller notes the vehicle came from California and is free of rust with a clean title. It currently has 310,000 miles on the odometer, but that is literally the break-in period for these diesel W123s. From the photos, the body and interior look to be in good shape. There appear to be some modifications to the headlights, probably HIDs added, but otherwise it appears stock. The seller notes the car runs and drives without issue.
You can find it here listed for $4,995.
