These guys decided to do an engine swap on a Honda Insight, specifically a first generation one. These vehicles were hybrids and were designed with optimized aerodynamics and a lightweight aluminum structure in order to maximize fuel efficiency. The original engine was a 3 cylinder gas engien pushing 67 horsepower. There was also an electric motor which added an additional 13 horspower and 36 pound feet of torque.
