Before I get too into this posting, it is a Copart find so I want to explain what Copart is. Copart sells used, wholesale and salvage vehicles in weekly and bi-weekly online auctions to buyers ranging from consumers to automotive businesses around the world. Vehicle sellers at Copart auctions consist of insurance companies, banks and financial institutions, charities, vehicle dealers, fleet operators, government agencies and rental car companies.
Today’s find is a classic, 1965 Ford Galaxie500 that needs some work out in Edmonton, Alberta. Looking at the listing and pictures, you’re getting a fairly complete car, say 70%, that is actually in decent shape. Don’t get me wrong, there is work to be had here like the fact it needs some body pieces such as the hood and it doesn’t run. The engine looks incomplete. The listing hasn’t gone live yet, but I’d imagine this could still be had affordably if you time it right.
Good luck. You can find the listing here.
