If you were in the market for a classic truck, there is a 1995 Ford F-250 available. This truck is being auctioned off by the Canadian government and is a regular cab, Ford F-250 XL HD with the 5.8L V8 OHV engine. This is a 4WD truck with 143643km, yes KM not miles my American friends.
The truck was owned by Agriculture Canada and no doubt has spent most of it’s life as a working farm truck which adds to the cool history vibe this thing packs. It looks like it has been well maintained, which is not surprising considering it was owned by the government. There are a few small rust spots that can be easily fixed. The auction also lists the following items will need work: dead battery, dirty and stained seats, body panel holes (from equipment such as antennas they had mounted) and minor body scratches and dents.
The auction ends January 25th and the current bid at the time of this writing is $4,650 Canadian dollars which is not a bad deal for a 1995 F-250 in decent shape. You can find the auction here.
