There is a 1993 Jaguar XJ220 Coupe for sale in Canada

The Jaguar XJ220 Coupe is a part of automotive history and one of the most beautiful cars ever produced. This is a two-seater sports car that was produced by Jaguar from 1992 until 1994. It was made in collaboration with automotive and race engineering company Tom Walkinshaw Racing. The XJ220 was assembled in Wykham Mill, Bloxham in Oxfordshire, England. During this time Jaguar produced 281 XJ220s through all production years making it a fairly limited vehicle.

The XJ220 was famous for recording a top speed of 212.3mph or 341.7km/h, making it the fastest production car during it’s production period. It also set the fastest Nurburgring lap time of 7:46:36 in 1991 making it the fastest production car to do so. The concept version of the XJ220 did feature a 6.2L V12 engine however all production models featured a 3.5L 6 cylinder twin-turbo engine that produced 542 horsepower and 475lb feet of torque. All XJ220 were sold with a 5-speed manual transmission only.

The example for sale here comes out of Toronto, Canada. It is a 1993 vintage finished in silver (as they all are) and featuring the 3.5L 6 cylinder twin-turbo engine mated to a manual transmission. This one has just 3,980km on the clock. The seller, a dealership called Pfaff Reserve, notes the vehicle was originally delivered new to an owner in Malta. Sometime in 2016 the vehicle was brought back to Canada and had a refresh down by Don Law Racing. It looks like this vehicle is in mint, brand new like condition and has lots of documentation to follow it.

You can find it for sale here.

About Meds

Ben is widely known as the car sales guy to his friends and family. He does not work at a dealership, although he has done so in the past. He currently works in fleet in the automotive industry and is a numbers guy. He currently drives a rather boring 2017 Ford F-150 as his daily, but his passion is his 2018 Ford Mustang GT. Disclaimer: he does not work for Ford, although he is a big fan.
